As both a principal in a real estate investment firm and an in-house general counsel, I have been responsible
for the structure and implementation of numerous homeowner associations and condominium regimes in
multiple states, and private “residents only” clubs.  Condominium and HOA developments have been free
standing associations, have been designed for urban infill locations, and have been structured as associations
within larger master-planned developments; all with extensive master developer controls.

  • Coordinated land planning and legal issues to establish master and subsidiary homeowner
    association covenants and restrictions, and private club structure, for three multi-phase projects
    each in excess of 1,000 acres.  Each project had multiple association and homeowner groups.
